Carlos is the Managing Partner of Data Driven Healthcare, where he advises organizations on data modernization, analytics strategy, and advanced analytics implementation. With over 15 years of experience driving data strategy, analytics, and financial performance across healthcare systems and physician services organizations, Carlos blends deep industry expertise with a hands-on technical approach.
He specializes in translating complex datasets into strategic insights, with core competencies in business intelligence, financial planning, revenue cycle optimization, and operational analytics. Carlos has led end-to-end analytics initiatives from architecting robust ETL pipelines and scalable data platforms to deploying predictive models that enable data-driven decision-making and performance improvement.

A hands-on technologist and strategist, he combines a deep understanding of healthcare operations with modern data engineering and analytics frameworks to deliver measurable business outcomes. Carlos has extensive experience with tools such as SQL, Python, and R, and has led projects involving ETL pipeline development, predictive modeling, and cloud-based analytics platforms.
Carlos holds a Bachelor’s in Finance from Florida International University, a Master of Science in Finance and Economics from Texas A&M University, and completed the Harvard Business Analytics Program, where he focused on AI, digital transformation, platform businesses, data analytics, operations and supply chain management, marketing analytics, algorithm development. His technical training included extensive work in machine learning including supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning as well as deep learning techniques.
